Privacy Policy
Riyaz Memon ("ToDooM," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ToDooM mobile application and associated services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using ToDooM, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. Every install is assigned an anonymous identity automatically (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) — no signup is required to use the app. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple (optional), we receive the identifier and email address your chosen provider shares with us, and link it to your existing anonymous account so your data carries over. We do not receive your password from Google/Apple — authentication is handled entirely by them.
Content you submit. When you share a link (e.g. an Instagram Reel, TikTok, or YouTube Short) into ToDooM, we store: the URL itself, the AI-generated title/summary/checklist/category/links extracted from it, and which stage of your personal task pipeline (Inbox / To-Do / In Progress / Done) it's in. We also fetch limited public metadata (the caption/title) from the original platform to improve extraction accuracy — we do not access your account on that platform, and we only fetch what's publicly visible on the shared link.
Usage and activity data. Completion streaks, best-streak record, last-completion date, and a rolling count of how many links you've processed in the current week, used solely to enforce the free-tier limit.
Push notification token. If you grant notification permission, we store a device push token so we can send you spaced reminders about items you haven't returned to. You can revoke this at any time in your device's notification settings.
Payment information (future). If/when a paid tier launches, subscription purchases are handled entirely by the App Store / Play Store's own in-app purchase system (via RevenueCat, which relays purchase events to us). We never receive or store your card number, expiration date, or CVV; Apple/Google handle your payment method directly, not us. We store only your subscription status (free/paid) and an opaque reference id needed to look it up.
We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships.
How we use your information
- To operate the core feature: turning a shared link into an AI-extracted, actionable checklist.
- To send the extraction request (the link, plus any publicly-fetched caption text) to Google's Gemini API for processing.
- To send you push notifications you've opted into.
- To track your completion streaks for the app's gamification features.
- To enforce the free-tier weekly usage limit and, for paid subscribers, to verify active subscription status.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your submitted content to train any AI model.

About AI processing
Content you submit for extraction is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate your checklist — this is a necessary part of how the app works. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete; see our Terms of Service.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual items at any time within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email stocksb07@gmail.com and we'll delete your data within 30 business days. (An in-app deletion option is planned.)
Children's privacy
ToDooM is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact stocksb07@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact stocksb07@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by other reasonable means before the change takes effect.
