Terms of Service

These Terms are a working draft, written to accurately describe how ToDooM's app actually works. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before public launch.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ToDooM mobile application and associated services (the "Service"), operated by Riyaz Memon ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ToDooM lets you share links from social platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and uses AI to extract an actionable checklist from the linked content, which you can then track through a personal task pipeline.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ToDooM. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You don't need to create an account to start using ToDooM — an anonymous identity is created automatically. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account for backup/portability. You're responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials you do set up, and for all activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to process links to content you don't have the right to access or share.
Attempt to circumvent the free-tier usage limit through automation, multiple accounts, or other abuse.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the Service's underlying AI prompts or extraction logic for competitive purposes.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
Attempt to disrupt or overload the Service's infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Third-party content and links

ToDooM processes links to content hosted on third-party platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that we don't own, control, or endorse. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of anything you link to. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any linked content complies with that platform's own terms of service.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Checklists, summaries, categories, and extracted links are generated automatically by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or occasionally unrelated to the source content. Extracted links in particular may not always point to real, working URLs — verify anything important yourself before relying on it. ToDooM is a productivity aid, not a source of truth; use your own judgment.

Subscriptions and billing

Applies once the paid tier launches. The free tier includes a limited number of link extractions per week (currently 6; subject to change with notice). A paid subscription removes this limit. Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) in-app purchase system — we do not process payments directly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not through us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not by us.

Intellectual property

The ToDooM app, its design, branding, and underlying code are owned by Riyaz Memon. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. the links you share); by submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it back to you as part of operating the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or features of it) with reasonable notice where practical.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riyaz Memon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹0 if you're on the free tier).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by other reasonable means before taking effect.
